Why it matters
An unfinished thought can stay with you because you have not yet said what you mean, even to yourself. If a conversation is safe and welcome, you can ask whether there is room to clarify it. The follow-up sentences are separate examples, not a script to combine and send. Choose only wording that reflects your situation.
