Terms of Service
Last updated: August 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between the user and InboxSuite Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Mystic Owl ("Mystic Owl," "we," "us," or "our").
These Terms govern mysticowl.net and related Mystic Owl content, accounts, subscriptions, quizzes, reflection tools, writing tools, community features, and other services that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Services").
Important: Section 17 contains a binding individual arbitration agreement and class-action waiver for users who affirmatively accept these Terms. It also explains how to opt out of arbitration within 30 days.
1. Acceptance of the Terms
A user affirmatively agrees to these Terms by:
- creating an account through a flow that presents these Terms;
- purchasing a product or subscription through a flow that presents these Terms;
- submitting content through a flow that presents these Terms;
- clicking a button or checking a box stating agreement; or
- otherwise expressly accepting these Terms.
A user who does not agree must not create an account, purchase, submit content, or use a feature requiring acceptance.
A person who only browses public editorial content is subject to the provisions reasonably applicable to that use. Section 17 applies only where the person has affirmatively accepted these Terms through an enforceable acceptance flow.
2. Eligibility
You must be:
- at least 18 years old;
- legally able to enter a contract; and
- permitted to use the Services under applicable law
to create an account, purchase, subscribe, submit content, or use an age-restricted feature.
Third-party offers may impose additional eligibility requirements.
Do not use the Services where prohibited by law.
3. Reflection and entertainment content
Mystic Owl publishes astrology, tarot, numerology, archetype, ritual, quiz, journaling, and related symbolic material for entertainment, education, cultural discussion, and optional reflection.
The Services are not:

- to determine employment suitability;
- to determine relationship safety;
- to delay emergency assistance; or
- as evidence that an external outcome will occur.
Quiz and reflection results may be generated using disclosed symbolic, editorial, deterministic, or rule-based methods. A result may not fit a particular user.
You remain responsible for your decisions and actions.
4. Accounts and security
You agree to:
- provide accurate information;

Cancellation and refund rules are described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Taxes may apply.
Payments may be processed by an independent payment processor.
6. SMS Program Terms
The Mystic Owl SMS program is operated by Mystic Owl. If a user opts in to receive SMS messages, messages may include account alerts, service messages, spiritual insights, reflections, customer-care communications, and promotional content based on the communication options the user selects or consents to.
Messages may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency is up to five messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or using Mystic Owl's services.
Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mystic Owl does not sell or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS consent records, or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be provided to service providers acting on Mystic Owl's behalf as necessary to operate and support the SMS program, subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.
For additional information about how Mystic Owl handles personal information, review the Privacy Policy.
Marketing email is subject to the consent or other legal basis described at enrollment. A user may unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email. Opting out of marketing does not necessarily prevent transactional, security, billing, privacy, or account-service communications.
7. Community and submitted content
If a feature allows you to submit a profile, story, wish, check-in, comment, report, reflection, image, or other material ("User Content"), you retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant Mystic Owl a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- host;
- store;
- reproduce;
- format;
- technically modify;
- display;
- transmit;
- moderate; and
- distribute
your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate the feature you selected and to make the content available to the audience you selected.
This license ends when the User Content is deleted from active systems, except for:
- reasonable backup periods;
- legal preservation;
- security records;
- content already lawfully shared by another user; and
- rights reasonably necessary to resolve a dispute.
Mystic Owl will not use a private story or submission in advertising, testimonials, or promotional material without separate affirmative permission.
You represent that:
- you own the User Content or have permission to submit it;
- the content does not violate another person's rights;
- the content is not unlawful; and
- the content does not contain another person's confidential or sensitive information without authorization.
Do not submit:
- passwords;
- payment-card information;
- government identifiers;
- confidential business information;
- another person's private information without permission;
- threats;
- harassment;
- impersonation;
- spam;
- malware;
- deceptive promotions; or
- material infringing intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
We may review, restrict, reject, remove, or decline to publish User Content.
We may suspend or terminate accounts to enforce these Terms or protect users and the Services.
We are not required to publish submitted content.
8. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide product feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant Mystic Owl a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.
This section does not convert private User Content into feedback.
9. Acceptable use
You may not:
- violate law;
- encourage unlawful harm;
- access an account, system, or data without authorization;

- use Mystic Owl content to train a machine-learning model except as permitted by law or written authorization.
10. Mystic Owl intellectual property
Except for User Content and identified third-party material, the Services, including their text, graphics, software, interfaces, layout, logos, illustrations, original archetypes, and other content, are owned by or licensed to Mystic Owl and protected by applicable law.
Mystic Owl grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in compliance with these Terms.
No ownership right is transferred.
11. Copyright complaints
If you believe material on Mystic Owl infringes copyright, send a written notice to legal@mysticowl.net and include:
- identification of the copyrighted work;
- identification and location of the allegedly infringing material;
- your contact information;
- a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized;

We may remove or disable access to disputed material and notify the affected user.
We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
A person who knowingly submits a materially false infringement notice or counter-notice may be responsible for resulting harm under applicable law.
12. Third-party services and advertising
The Services may link to or integrate with:
- advertisers;
- affiliates;
- sponsors;
- payment processors;
- social networks;
- analytics providers; or
- other third parties.
A link, integration, or sponsored placement is not a guarantee that a third party is suitable for a particular user.
Third-party terms, privacy notices, billing practices, and policies govern activity on the third party's service.
Mystic Owl may receive compensation as explained in the Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure.
13. Service availability and changes
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature, subject to applicable contracts and law.
We do not guarantee that every:
- feature;
- contributor;
- community area;
- offer;
- advertiser;
- tool;
- subscription plan; or
- publication schedule
will remain available.
If discontinuing a paid feature materially affects prepaid access, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law or the applicable purchase terms.
14. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
MYSTIC OWL DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED;
- THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE;
- THE SERVICES WILL BE COMPLETELY SECURE;
- CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE FOR EVERY USER;
- A QUIZ RESULT WILL FIT A USER;
- A COMMUNITY INTERACTION WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR RESULT;
- A SPONSORED OFFER WILL BE AVAILABLE; OR
- SYMBOLIC OR REFLECTIVE CONTENT WILL PRODUCE AN EXTERNAL OUTCOME.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions. Those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYSTIC OWL AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- INDIRECT;
- INCIDENTAL;
- SPECIAL;
- CONSEQUENTIAL;
- EXEMPLARY; OR
- PUNITIVE DAMAGES;
OR FOR LOSS OF:
- PROFITS;
- DATA;
- GOODWILL;
- BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY; OR
- EXPECTED BENEFIT
ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF MYSTIC OWL FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO MYSTIC OWL FOR THE APPLICABLE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
- US$100.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability to the extent arising from fraud, willful misconduct, or another non-waivable basis under applicable law.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mystic Owl and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from third-party claims, damages, judgments, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from:
- your unlawful use of the Services;
- your User Content;
- your infringement of another person's rights; or
- your material violation of these Terms.
This obligation does not apply to claims arising from Mystic Owl's own unlawful conduct.
Mystic Owl will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim.
We may control the defense and settlement, provided that we will not agree to a settlement requiring you to admit wrongdoing or make a payment without your consent unless the obligation is independently established.
17. Dispute resolution and binding individual arbitration
17.1 Important notice
THIS SECTION REQUIRES BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION AND WAIVES THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL OR CLASS ACTION FOR USERS WHO AFFIRMATIVELY ACCEPT THESE TERMS, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED BELOW.
17.2 Informal dispute process
Before filing arbitration or a court action, the party asserting a dispute must send a written Notice of Dispute.
A notice to Mystic Owl must be sent to:
and should include:
- the claimant's name;
- account email, if any;
- a description of the dispute;
- supporting information;
- the requested resolution; and
- contact information.
The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for 30 days after receipt.
This requirement does not prevent a party from seeking urgent relief where delay would cause immediate and irreparable harm.
17.3 Binding arbitration
If the dispute is not resolved informally, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to:
- these Terms;
- the Services;
- an account;
- a subscription;
- a purchase;
- User Content; or
- the relationship between the user and Mystic Owl
will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect.
The Federal Arbitration Act governs this arbitration agreement.
The arbitrator may award the same individual remedies available in court, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
A hearing may occur:
- by video;
- by telephone;
- through written submissions; or
- in person at a location reasonably convenient to the consumer
as permitted by the applicable rules.
Arbitration fees will be allocated under the applicable AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules. Mystic Owl will pay fees that it is required to pay under those rules or applicable law.
17.4 Exceptions
Either party may:
- bring an eligible individual claim in small-claims court;
- report a matter to a government agency;
- seek relief concerning infringement or misuse of intellectual property;
- seek emergency injunctive relief to prevent immediate harm; or
- seek public injunctive relief in court where that right cannot lawfully be waived.
17.5 Individual proceedings only
Claims must be brought only on an individual basis.
The parties waive the right to have a dispute heard:
- as a class action;
- as a collective action;
- as a representative action;
- through a class arbitration; or
- through a consolidated proceeding involving claims of unrelated users,
except where applicable law makes such a waiver unenforceable.
The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual claimant and only to the extent necessary to resolve that claimant's claim.
17.6 Arbitration opt-out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days after first affirmatively accepting these Terms.
Send an email to legal@mysticowl.net with the subject:
Arbitration Opt-Out
Include:
- your full name;
- the email associated with your account or purchase;
- the date of acceptance, if known; and
- a clear statement that you opt out of the arbitration agreement.
Opting out of arbitration does not affect the remaining Terms.
17.7 Arbitration assent
This Section 17 applies only where you affirmatively accepted these Terms through an account, purchase, content submission, or another click-through acceptance process.
The existence and enforceability of an arbitration agreement may be determined by a court where applicable law requires judicial determination.
17.8 Severability
If a part of this Section 17 is unenforceable, the remainder will remain effective to the maximum extent permitted by law.
If the individual-action waiver is held unenforceable for a particular claim and the invalid portion cannot be severed, that claim must proceed in a court with jurisdiction and not in class arbitration.
18. Governing law and court venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that:
- the Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 17; and
- mandatory consumer protections of the user's place of residence remain applicable where they cannot lawfully be waived.
A dispute not subject to arbitration must be brought in a state or federal court located in New Castle County, Delaware, unless applicable law gives the consumer a non-waivable right to bring the dispute elsewhere.
Each party consents to the jurisdiction of those courts, subject to non-waivable rights.
19. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time.
You may cancel a subscription as described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Mystic Owl may suspend or terminate access because of:
- a material or repeated violation;
- fraud;
- abuse;
- a security risk;
- nonpayment;
- a legal requirement; or
- discontinuation of a Service.
Where reasonably appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct a violation.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning:
- ownership;
- licenses already granted;
- payment obligations;
- disclaimers;
- liability limitations;
- indemnity;
- disputes; and
- enforcement.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms.
The date at the top will change after a material revision.
Where required, we will provide additional notice.
Material changes apply prospectively.
A material change to the arbitration agreement will not apply to a dispute that arose before the effective date of the change unless the user affirmatively agrees or applicable law permits otherwise.
Continuing to use the Services after an effective update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law and only where the user received legally sufficient notice.
21. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with policies incorporated by reference, form the entire agreement concerning the applicable Services.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder will continue in effect.
A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign your account or rights under these Terms without written permission.
Mystic Owl may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or transfer of the relevant business or assets, subject to applicable law.
Headings are for convenience and do not control interpretation.
No third party receives enforcement rights under these Terms unless expressly stated.
