Human editorial control
AI-assisted content policy
AI tools may assist with outlines, drafts, editing suggestions, code, inventory, or repetitive quality checks. AI output is not an author, expert, fact-checker, or substitute for editorial responsibility.

Permitted assistance
- Organizing an editor-provided brief or source list
- Suggesting clearer structure, examples, or plain-language revisions
- Flagging repeated wording, broken links, metadata gaps, or safety language for review
- Supporting code and data work used to publish or audit the site
What AI may not do on its own
- Publish an article by itself
- Invent a person, credential, testimonial, quotation, source, or first-hand experience
- Change a publication or modified date to imply freshness
- Generate many search-targeted pages without distinct reader value
- Make medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or deterministic relationship claims
Human accountability
Mystic Owl remains accountable for published AI-assisted work, including originality, sources, internal duplication, factual statements, tone, safety, commercial balance, mobile presentation, and metadata. An AI tool does not make publication decisions or become an author.
Disclosure and correction
We disclose material AI assistance when a reasonable reader would want to know how the work was created. Readers can report repetitive, inaccurate, or misleading content through our corrections process. We may revise, noindex, merge, or retire work that does not meet the editorial standard.
